VJ-Workshop "Video Performing"
Presentation: Sunday 5 November 2006, 8 pm in the frame of the "Rotlichkonzerte"

In 2006, there will be another vj-workshop lasting several days at the media art gallery, following the success of the international workshops “Video_Recycling. Sample-Mix-Remix” (2004) and „Video_Circling – The camera as picture source “ (2005; see under archive 2004 and 2005).
This year the vj-workshop is entitled „Video Performing“ and deals with the relationship between live video performing, music and dance. The workshop offers a platform to all participants to explore the subject in their own experimental way alone or in groups, giving them also the opportunity to discuss contemporary and historical artistic solutions.
The video workshop will finish in a public presentation of the resulting works on Sunday, November 5, 2006 at 8 pm. The presentation will be accompanied by music of Axel Hanfreich und and a DJ-Ensemble of the Freie Radio für Stuttgart: DJ Frau Müller, DJ Rhizomat, DJ Aldin Dubb, DJane Elektra und DJ R:NAE. Live streaming of the concert on Freie Radio für Stuttgart from 9 to 11 pm.
