‚blow and go’ shows 13 student positions, which were performed mainly at the glass-kiln at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design. An exhibition at Museum Alter Hof  Herding, in Coesfeld last year had occasioned this catalogue. It concentrates, similar to a picture book and in a handy size of 15 x 11 cm, the artworks in between 200 pages.
The catalogue is availlable at a preferential price.

The Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design is among few academies which are focused on teaching glass and its artistic qualities.
Professor Johannes Hewel is tenured professor for works with glass and painting, accompanied by Jörg F. Zimmermann, who is teaching at the glass blowing workshop, Ragan Arnold responsable for glass cutting and by Claudia Heinzler, head of the department glass painting and technique.
The glass blowing workshop opens twice a year for six weeks  and students from all disciplines take the opportunity to work on the glass kiln. The certain requirements and working conditions imply teamwork as well as dialog within the creative work. This dialog ability reflects the layout just as the content of the catalogue.

Works by Christina Ehinger, Dilini Keethapongalan, Gregor Linz, Phillip Mercier, Yoko Naito, Christiane Prehn-Seeler, Anja Römpp, Heide Spieth-Wolpert, Menja Stevenson, Yi Sun, Hanako Toyama, Katharina Weidauer und Birgit Werner.

Tilmann Schlevogt, student of Communication Design at the head of Professor Uli Cluss, designed the catalogue.
