Heart of Congo – Hidden Tracks

Today a journey between Berlin/Stuttgart and Kinshasa (DR Congo). In the social project “Atelier Kamikazi” from Kinshasa, street kids aged 12-18 make music and rap about topics concerning their lives.

The Stuttgart label Seismographic Records released an EP by Atelier Kamikazi (with Lova Lova) three years ago and now comes the album “Loketo”.

At a listening session in Berlin, not only the album by Atelier Kamikazi was presented, but also other music by Nwaka Son Systeme, also from Kinshasa.

There is also a matching record polytour by Micha Phonem.
