Throughout the month of November, the Acker Stadt Palast will transform into a space where encounters become both the subject and the medium of art. Pink You Fest! unfolds as an evolving constellation of performances and shared experiments. Each evening will be shaped by the chemistry between the announced artists and duo MXM.
Conceived to mark a decade of Berlin interventions by duo MXM, formed by light artist Mirella Brandi and musician and sound explorer MUEP, the festival gathers collaborators who have crossed their path over the last ten years. Around fifty invited artists from diverse life and artistic backgrounds will meet MXM on stage, to present finished works and reveal innovative processes of making together at the same time.
In times where cultural production faces shrinking resources and budget cuts worldwide, Pink You Fest! will not only search for answers, but also raise the question: what new utopias emerge when creation is sustained through collaboration, improvisation, and shared risk? Each performance becomes a site of negotiation between individual visions, between the imagined and the possible. Audiences are invited not only to witness, but to inhabit this performative configuration. After all, art can only make a noise when somebody is there to listen.
From live presentations to experimental performative scores, navigating through the musical and light from MXM, the program embraces several encounters that intend to reframe how we gather. This way, we are forced to reimagine the future of art itself under conditions of economic scarcity and creative abundance.
